The book explores the impacts of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) for global mobility in the field of international higher education. Specifically, this book responds to the growing need for new insights and perspectives to improve higher education policy and practice in the era of COVID-19. Samuel’s chapter titled ‘Innovating in the Face of the COVID-19 Pandemic‘ examines the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on tertiary education in Nigeria and highlights outstanding indigenous innovations within tertiary institutions prompted by the pandemic.
