COLANDS team at Global Landscape Forum Biodiversity Digital Conference

Collaborating to operationalize landscape approaches for nature, development and sustainability (COLANDS) team hosted a session at the recent GLF Biodiversity Digital Conference: One World – One Health (Oct 28 – 29, 2020). The session was presented by eight speakers and was attended by more than 700 people. Speakers shared their experiences of conceptualizing, designing and implementing landscape approaches, including: why biodiversity needs to be integrated within landscape approaches, how better governance can be achieved, what evaluation approaches are appropriate and how to bridge sectorial, disciplinary and knowledge system divides. This session also launched a book that showcases COLANDS initiatives that are implementing integrated landscape approaches in Ghana, Zambia, and Indonesia.
